It’s Tuesday and Larry’s just left his last audition. He’s been acting for thirty years, but if he doesn’t get this part by Friday he’s leaving the Left Coast for good. Portrayed with haunting candor by Mamet regular, Lionel Mark Smith (Spanish Prisoner, State & Main, Edmond), Larry reminisces on life as a black actor, positivism, and where to buy the freshest oranges in Inglewood…all with an eye on the phone and his mind on the Southside of Chicago.
